About this journal
The shot works while you take it. What will still be standing after?
A GLP-1 medicine makes losing weight easier while you take it. This logbook is for the part that lasts: the muscle, the protein habit and the plan you build while you're on it, and what you do when you stop.
Thirty seconds an evening for protein, strength and your stomach. Every four weeks, three numbers: weight, waist and how many times you can stand up from a chair in 30 seconds, so you know you're losing fat, not strength. And a red line, set calmly in advance, for the day the weight starts coming back. No brand names, no doses, no calorie counting.
How it works
- StartTen minutes: eight safety checks, your starting point and your three numbers.
- Every eveningAbout 30 seconds: protein, strength, walking and your stomach.
- Every four weeksRead two pages of science, take your three numbers and plan the next block. Set your red line before you stop.
What you get
- 52 weekly pages, each with a tick for road A, B or C: on the medicine, planning to stop, or stopped
- 13 blocks of four weeks, each opening with a two-page science spread: from "the scaffolding, not the house" and what the scale doesn't show to the year after the last dose, your red line and keeping the muscle
- A check-in every four weeks: your three numbers, what went well and the plan for the next four weeks
- Before you start: eight safety checks, your starting point, how to take the three numbers, and the common mistakes
- Protein by hand: no counting and no kitchen scale
- A 12-week strength program with a chair and two bottles, and a strength log
- A three-level side-effect chart to keep with your medicine
- Taking the scaffolding down: a 12-week handover and a red-line sheet
- Two pages to bring to your doctor, a medicine guide by active ingredient, the plan at a glance and a glossary
- Worked examples from Jonas, 50: his numbers, a hard week, a check-in at week 36 and his red-line sheet
- Progress charts for the year, safety pages and a quick lookup for when something goes wrong
A record-keeping tool, not medical advice: it gives no doses or tapering schedules. Decide about starting, stopping or changing your medicine with your doctor.
